Kristen Mooney is an ardent fundraising professional with over 15 years of experience working in the non-profit sector, specifically focused on tackling issues related to economic, racial, and gender equity. She is particularly drawn to fund development and previously served as Development Director for Allies for Every Child, a Los Angeles based social services agency. With a background in social work, Kristen brings a unique perspective to fundraising and nonprofit management, greatly informed by her time spent working directly with communities and the complex systems they navigate.
Kristen enjoys collaborating with organizations on strategic planning and capacity building to support maximum impact and efficiency. Having previously served as a Field Instructor for graduate social work interns, she is equally passionate about supporting and mentoring the next generation of students interested in nonprofit development. Kristen holds a Masterโs degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Bachelorโs degree in Political Science from the University of California San Diego.
