Build Hope, Inc. (BHI), is a Los Angeles nonprofit public charity corporation without capital stock and without members and is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for public and charitable purposes. The Corporation is governed by Parts 1 and 2 of Division 2 of Title 1 of the California Corporations Code. BHI is dedicated to improving the quality of housing, education and job training for low-income Los Angeles residents living in public housing, Section 8 and other residential housing units owned or operated by the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles, California.
